ABOUT US.

The Penn State Wealth Management Association (PSWMA) is a student-led organization in the Smeal College of Business preparing the next generation of leaders in wealth and asset management. Through hands-on investment experience, technical skill development, industry mentorship, and direct exposure to leading financial firms, PSWMA connects the classroom to real-world careers. Our members gain the knowledge, network, and confidence to stand out in recruiting and succeed in an evolving financial industry.
The Penn State Finance Association (PSFA) serves as the primary feeder organization for PSWMA, giving students an early foundation in wealth and asset management. Through hands-on workshops, investment pitches, technical training, and exposure to industry professionals, PSFA helps members build the skills and experience needed to advance into PSWMA and pursue competitive careers in finance. Students looking to join PSWMA must attend PSFA meetings, after which they will interview.
